Of Castello Lauritano only ruins remain, at the top of Agerola. It was a medieval fortress guarding the pass between the coast and the interior: from up there you watched who was coming up from the sea, which around here was a serious matter for centuries.
Today you go for two reasons: the stones, and what you can see from them.
