Cookie policy

Which cookies this site uses: none of ours

The short version

This site sets no cookies of its own and doesn’t track you. No analytics, no advertising pixels. There are two external components — the Lodgify booking calendar and the assistant (concierge) — and neither tracks you. The calendar sets its own technical cookies to work — the ones for picking dates and booking, nothing else. The assistant sets no cookies: when you write to it, it sends your question to our server and to Anthropic to generate the answer (details in the privacy policy).

What they are, in two lines

Cookies are files a site leaves on your device so it can recognise it. They’re used for useful things (remembering a preference) and less useful ones (following you from site to site to sell you advertising). We do neither.

The booking calendar: Lodgify

To take bookings we use Lodgify, our property management system. Its calendar is a third-party component and, to work, it sets its own technical cookies: the ones for picking dates and completing a booking, nothing more — no analytics, no advertising.

The calendar is loaded directly on the pages where you book — the home and the house pages — so you can check availability straight away. Together with the assistant, it is one of the site’s only two external components: everything else (fonts, images) is hosted here, and the maps we mention are links.

What you will NOT find here

  • No Google Analytics, no visitor statistics
  • No Facebook pixel, no advertising trackers
  • No embedded maps: where we mention a map it’s a link, which opens only if you click it
  • No fonts loaded from external servers: they’re hosted here

If you don’t want them

Lodgify’s cookies are technical booking cookies, not tracking. If you’d rather not have them, you can block or delete them from your browser settings: the rest of the site stays fully readable, and you can always book by email, by phone, or on Lodgify’s own site.
